                  A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR OF 
                  THE GENERAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT TO ENTER INTO 
                  AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONTRACT WITH DERTHICK, 
                  HENLEY & WILKERSON ARCHITECTS, RELATIVE TO THE 
                  BESSIE SMITH HALL, FOR AN ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF 
                  ELEVEN THOUSAND, FOUR HUNDRED FORTY DOLLARS 
                  ($11,440.00), FOR A REVISED CONTRACT AMOUNT 
                  NOT TO EXCEED TWENTY-SIX THOUSAND, NINE 
                  HUNDRED FIVE DOLLARS ($26,905.00).

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Administrator of the General 
       Services Department be and is hereby authorized to enter into an 
       amendment to the Contract with Derthick, Henley & Wilkerson 
       Architects, relative to the Bessie Smith Hall, for an additional 
       amount of $11,440.00, for a revised contract amount not to exceed 
       $26,905.00.
